03 / CATHODIC PROTECTION
Cathodic Protection
Corrosion control systems for buried and submerged metallic structures. Sacrificial and impressed current solutions.
SACRIFICIAL ANODES
Sacrificial Anodes
Passive cathodic protection using galvanically active metals that corrode preferentially to protect steel structures. No external power source required — ideal for remote locations, offshore platforms, and buried pipelines.
- Magnesium Anodes — high driving potential, best for high-resistivity soils and fresh water
- Zinc Anodes — stable in marine and saline environments, offshore structures and ship hulls
- Aluminum Anodes — high-efficiency, preferred for seawater and offshore applications
Applications: buried pipelines, underground storage tanks, marine hulls, jetty piles, offshore platforms, heat exchangers

ICCP SYSTEMS
Impressed Current Cathodic Protection
Active cathodic protection system using an external DC power source to deliver protective current to the structure. Adjustable and scalable — suitable for large structures or complex geometries where sacrificial anodes are impractical.
- Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) anodes — titanium substrate, long service life
- Rectifiers and transformer-rectifiers — controlled DC power output
- Reference electrodes — for continuous monitoring of protection potential
- Junction boxes and connection systems
- Remote monitoring and telemetry systems
Applications: cross-country pipelines, above-ground storage tanks, power plant water boxes, marine structures, reinforced concrete
