Dense ceramic bricks and tiles engineered for severe acid service. High compressive strength and near-zero water absorption make them the standard lining for towers, tanks, and floors exposed to strong acids. Also known as acid resistant brick / acid proof plate.

Acid Proof Cement
One potassium-silicate acid proof cement that both beds and joints acid resistant brick and tile — supplied together with the brick, so the whole acid-tight lining comes from a single source.

What is the difference between acid resistant brick and acid proof tile?
They are the same dense ceramic material in different formats. Bricks are thicker and used as a structural acid-tight lining for towers, tanks, and floors, while tiles (acid proof plates) are thinner and used to face floors and walls. Both share the same acid resistance of 99.8%.
What sizes and thicknesses are available?

Can these be used for acid resistant flooring or battery / charging rooms?
Yes. Acid proof tiles and bricks are a standard choice for acid-resistant flooring, drainage channels, and battery or charging rooms where spilled acid attacks ordinary concrete. They are bedded and jointed with potassium-silicate acid proof cement for a fully acid-tight floor.
