Choosing a structured packing material
Structured packing arranges corrugated sheets or wire gauze in ordered layers to give high separation efficiency and low pressure drop — the preferred medium for vacuum and high-purity distillation and for column revamps. The choice of material sets the temperature and chemical limits.
